After almost 5 days in the shop, I finally have my car back! New clutch, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, rear main seal, master and slave cylinders, clutch soft and hard lines, Trans fluid, and hydraulic fluid. Thing shifts buttery smooth, no more clutch chatter, and the pedal is crazy easy to use. Of course it’s torrential down pouring the whole day that I have it back so I’ll have to wait to really drive it until tomorrow afternoon. Woooooooo!

I can relate. Mine has been in the garage since 26 April. As of yesterday, it is now drivable again! Whoooo!
Now, to buy some headlight gear bushings, because the passenger’s side is binding...

I can’t even fathom going that long. It would feel like I got rid of the car forever lol

It has been entirely too long. Go in to replace alternator, then decide to do the leaky oil cooler lines, then decide to do some of the coolant hoses, then brakes...
It does drive so much better now.

This is my first manual car so I’ve never known what this was like. It’s absurd how easy it is to drive now. All this time I thought I was just relatively unskilled with the clutch pedal and really my clutch was just on its way out.
